Club Speaker Evening

On Tuesday 2nd April at the Victoria Inn at Roche members were given a talk from a former senior Officer who was Stationed at Bodmin Fire Station. He spoke of how he initially became a fireman explaining the induction process and the high degree of training that a fireman must go through before being accepted in the force.

He also spoke of the many incidents that he had to attend and of the procedures and apparatus that was required for a successful conclusion to the operation.

The presentation was thoroughly enjoyable to those who attended and at the conclusion of his presentation the officer retired to his seat mid generous applause.
