Cornwall County Car Club AGM 2026

The 12th. AGM was held on March 3rd. 2026  at The County Arms, Truro.

 

The Meeting was well attended with the usual reports given by the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.

 

It was agreed that the Carnon Downs Memory Cafe and the St.Austell Bay Coastguard should benefit from the money raised from the Club's charity raffle at Christmas.

 

The Chairman, Mr. John Denton gave a moving account of his time as Chairman, thanking all the Committee for their sterling work over the years. He reluctantly had to stand down from the Committee due to his wife's health but would continue, when he could, support future events.  Expressing how lucky he felt to be involved with such a wonderful, friendly and progressive Club with Members at the heart.

 

 Officers elected; Chairman — Ivan Barrett, Vice Chair --- Linda Buddell,    Secretary ---- Susan Morcom,   Treasurer and Membership ----   Geoff Trewella with David Crawford looking after our Website reports.

                 

Committee; Richard Uren, Jerry Barnbrook, Sue Wilson and  Tony O'Hanlon

The Meeting closed at 8.20pm
